When He ( Jesus ) comes back, He will bring the holy city with Him and set it up for a time
somewhere in earth's atmospheric heavens, perhaps orbiting the earth.

The resurrected and raptured saints will dwell in this city, though with occasional visits to
the earth, during the tribulation and millennial periods.
Finally, when the earth is made new again, .....
the Lord Jesus Christ
will bring it down to the earth where it will remain
forever.
