One half of the earth's population die in the tribulation ( Revelation chapters 6 and 9 ).

- The number of deaths in the tribulation -

The number of people who will survive the tribulation

is one-half of the planet's population immediately

following the rapture.( Revelation 6:8 & 9:15 )

In Revelation Chapter 6 we learn that

25 percent of the earth's population is killed - that is followed by even more severe

judgments and the death of one-third of the remaining population ( Revelation chapter 9 ).

These staggering death percentages equal one-half of the population of earth.

Revelation 9:16-19

Now the number of the army of horsemen was 200,000,000...

And thus I saw the horses in the vision:

those who sat on them had breastplates.

The heads of the horses

were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire,

smoke, and brimstone.

...a third of mankind was killed...

....their tails are like serpents

having heads with which they inflict injury.

Those who were not killed did not repent of their

murders or their narcotic induced sorceries or their

sexual vice or their thefts.
