silence in Heaven and satan

- The seventh seal -

Revelation 8:1

And when he had opened

the seventh seal,

for about the space of half an hour

there was silence in Heaven.

Satan was enraged by the silence -

he was unable to delude himself from thoughts of grandeur

when he contemplated the nuances of what was ahead for him.
